I have always been the person people ask to fix their tech issues. I am Alejandro, the founder of Tech on Tires.

I earned my computer engineering degree from UCF in 2014. Over the next decade, I tackled complex software architecture for major tech companies, including migrating monolithic systems to the cloud at Amazon and building high-availability communications platforms for Sony.

These days, I work as a Research and Development Engineer at the University of Florida. Thanks to my lifelong knack for troubleshooting, I also accidentally became the go-to IT guy for my entire department. I genuinely enjoy that mix of work. On any given morning, I might be designing an embedded IoT vehicle tracking system or simply figuring out why a researcher's computer refuses to connect to the network.

I built Tech on Tires because I wanted to bring that exact same engineering mindset directly to local businesses and residents here in Gainesville. I am a problem solver by nature. Whether you need someone to untangle your office network, build custom automations for your business, or just get your laptop running again, I am here to help.
